How to Make Cayenne Tincture: My 25-Year Favorite | Part 1

Cayenne has been part of my herbal cabinet for more than 25 years—and I still make my own.

In this video, I’ll show you just how simple it is to make cayenne tincture at home. Fresh hot peppers, alcohol, a jar, and a little patience. That’s it.

Over the years I’ve learned that peppers can vary tremendously in heat and strength, so every batch teaches you something. That’s one of the things I love about working with herbs—you learn the plant instead of just reading the label.

Keep it simple. Learn what’s in your bottle. And when you can, learn to make it yourself.
